About Covellite Presents

Demetrius Fassas was born and raised in Richmond, Kentucky. After attaining a degree in Biology from Butler University in 2012, Demetrius Fassas moved to Montana where he has spent the past 10 years working in the non-profit sector. Initially, his work was within the Ennis School District, managing their school garden program. This grew into a position here in Butte with NCAT. After leaving employment with NCAT in 2018, Demetrius worked with other members of Butte's recovery community to found Butte SPIRIT Homes, which operated clinically licensed recovery residences for people in early recovery from Substance Use Disorder. Now, delving into his long-held passion for the performance art, Demetrius has stepped into the role of Director for Covellite Presents.

Rob Cox grew up in Great Falls and Havre, and studied Acting and Directing at the University of Montana. He has worked as an actor (A River Runs Through It, Almost Famous, Freaks & Geeks), a post-production professional working in Color and VFX (Grey's Anatomy, Gilmore Girls, Dragnet, She Spies), and a Locations Manager and Locations Scout (1923, Please Baby Please, Two or Two or Three Things I Know About Edward Hopper). He was a key member of the “1923” locations team that received the LMGI Award for OUTSTANDING LOCATIONS IN A PERIOD TELEVISION SERIES in 2023. In between film projects Rob helps stage shows with Montana Pro Audio and has joined the Covellite Theatre crew as House Manager.

Cody Peterson was born and raised in Butte, Montana. While playing and travelling with his post-hardcore punk rock band "A River Runs Thru It" since 2015, he found passion in the entertainment industry and decided to bring a share of that passion to his hometown. Cody has been an active radio DJ since his sophomore year of high school, first at the local college radio station and then at the local community radio station, KBMF 102.5 LP. To cultivate longevity in the Butte, America music scene, Cody started booking and hosting live shows at KBMF in December 2022, under his DJ brand, "Beach Bear Radio".

Katie Canaday is a creative and passionate individual with a love for hospitality, the arts, and holistic healing. Originally from Kentucky, she discovered her excitement for theatre while working as both cast and crew in local productions. In Austin, Texas, Katie earned a degree in pastry arts, refining her culinary skills. She then moved to Seattle, Washington, to further her experience in the hospitality industry. After returning to Kentucky, Katie opened a small business focused on tea, spices, and healing, where she hosted educational classes for 4-H groups and local libraries while also working in event management and wedding coordination. Recently, Katie returned to Butte, Montana. Excited to reignite her passion for theatre and production, she is thrilled to join The Covellite Theatre, bringing her diverse skills to the team.

Alysia Guzman has been involved in event coordination and marketing in Butte for years, such as working closely with the Tavern Association on their annual fundraiser dinners. She has developed significant local connections coordinating festivals and events with Montana Booking Agency and KBMF 102.5, including the annual Butte St. Patrick's Day Parade, 4th of July Parade, and Food Truck Festivals.

Alysia began supporting marketing routines for Covellite Presents in Summer 2024, and continues to expand her impact at the theatre over the past few months with her instinct for social media trends, pizzazz for crowd work, and general enthusiasm for building community and brand awareness.

Ainsley is a classically-trained pianist, vocalist, and dancer, and as the oldest of 7, loves working with and supporting young people. She is a professional right-hand-man, with organizational and people skills that help other multi-hyphenates achieve their goals. Ainsley has been working in theatre, onstage and backstage, since she was 5, and moved to Georgia in 2015 to begin seriously pursuing film work. This led her to managing an independent film in Butte, Montana in 2017/18. Since moving to Butte she has helped organize various non-profit arts efforts, acted in theatre and film, worked on film crews in a variety of capacities, hosted 3 radio shows on KBMF 102.5 FM, and sings regularly with Platinum Street Jazz, The Butte Big Band, and other groups.

Matt Boyle is a Butte born and raised entrepreneur with a passion for music and live entertainment. Boyle started producing events in Butte in 2011, and has since expanded his footprint across Montana, Washington, and Idaho producing shows at multiple venues throughout each state under his business, Montana Booking Agency. From 2013-2017 Boyle hosted The Original Festival, 2 day outdoor multi genre music festival that saw a peak of over 4,000 attendees. Boyle was a founding board member of the Butte America Foundation, the nonprofit license holder for Butte’s non-commercial community radio station, KBMF 102.5 FM. In his spare time, Boyle enjoys spending time with his daughter, Jozie, or ripping up countless miles of trails on his mountain bike.
